These unique bags are a collaboration between Linny and master weavers in a small village in Peru. They are made using luxurious Italian leather and pure, naturally dyed wool.
The Andean people have a strong connection with the natural workd and every weaving has a story to tell. The design on these Andean "chumpi" textiles represents the claw of the puma, which for the Incas symbolizes strength & wisdom.
These small batch bags are made of the finest Italian vanchetta leather that has been naturally dyed using chestnuts in Tuscany, Italy. The snaps are plated in 18k gold and the handles are handstitched.
Handmade in the White Mountains of New Hampshire by our local artist, Linny Kenney and the Sacred Valley, Peru.
