Handmade by local artist, Sinead Cleary in Littleton, NH.
Featuring orange, peach, pink and lilac Morganite, grewn and blue Beryl, this necklace is hand strung and knotted between each bead. A sterling toggle clasp allows the necklace to be worn two ways.
Beads measure 6x4mm, beads are faceted allowing the gems more sparkle as they catch the light.
Necklace measures 22" long
Clasp is sterling silver and measures approximately 3/4" by 1/2"
Please note: Silk knotted necklaces were originally designed for pearls which are much lighter in weight than gemstones, and to be worn on special occasion, which allows the longevity without the need for restringing for a few years. When gemstone necklaces became trendy, these were styled and worn more frequently allowing the silk to relax and stretch more. Please do not get the silk wet as this can cause it to break, moisture will relax the silk and the weight of the beads & friction of the bead moving will cause the silk to thin and eventually break. Please wear with care.
